So, here we go. 24 moments of beauty in the ordinary for advent (and I refuse to show any photos of snow because I’m sick of the sight of it already). I am indebted to the artist Keri Smith as her book ‘How to be an explorer of the world’  is a major inspiration for this project.

I saw these two chairs miles apart on different streets in Manchester. They’re so full of character, abandoned – but the glorious red material shone out amongst the other street detritus. They look like they’re made for each other but will probably never meet.
